Chipix (“we”, “us”) runs the Chipix Mobile Clinic repair store, the Chipix Mobile Repairing Institute, and this website. Our address is 605, Block I, Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, 201015. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our store, and how we use it.

We only collect what you choose to give us, mainly through our forms:

• Repair bookings: your name, phone number, device model, the problem with your device and your preferred visit time.
• Course enquiries: your name, WhatsApp number, city, the course and batch you’re interested in.
• Contact messages: your name, shop name, phone number, city and your message.
• In-store repairs: contact details for your job card and invoice, and notes about your device’s condition when you hand it over.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

• To respond to your booking, enquiry or message, and to call or WhatsApp you about it.
• To carry out your repair, prepare your invoice and honour your warranty.
• To reserve your demo class and share course, fee and batch details.
• To improve our services and keep the website secure.

For hardware repairs we do not access, copy or format the personal data on your device (photos, messages, contacts). Some repairs, such as software fixes, may require resetting a device — we will always ask you first. We recommend backing up your device before any repair.

Some buttons on this site open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Anything you send through WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (for example, website hosting), or when required by law.

Chipix Metafy, our repair-shop software, runs on metafy.in and is covered by its own privacy policy.

This website may use essential cookies and similar browser storage to work properly, for example to remember your preferences. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as expected if you do.

We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to respond to you and provide our services, and repair and invoice records for as long as required for warranty, accounting and legal purposes.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or tell us to stop contacting you, by emailing hellochipix@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
